We are an asset financing company offering micro-loans secured on motor vehicle logbooks. We serve the needs of clients who require urgent funding for such emergency needs as completing business transactions, covering a medical emergency or even paying school fees. Our broader objective is to help our clients unlock value from their assets (motor vehicles) which they have already purchased and fully paid for. They can use the unlocked value to enhance their commercial or personal needs. We consider the value locked in Kenya motor vehicle ownership to exceed Ksh. 800 billion (USD 8 Billion) and unlocking even a small fraction of this potential value could create a major positive impact to the economic growth of the country

Having proved the concept of offering loans against motor vehicle logbooks Meridian intends to stay focused on this product for next 36 months. During this period the company will issue 10,000 loans over and above the already achieved. The estimated portfolio value, will be Over Kshs. 1 Billion.
To achieve this volume the company will work through its current and future branches as well as a wide network of contracted agents spread in all towns in Kenya. The efforts of personal selling will be complimented by strategically targeted below and above the line marketing.
